See the Official Alexander Wang x H&M Ad Campaign

The official ad campaign for the upcoming Alexander Wang for H&M designer collaboration, featuring football player Andy Carroll and kick boxer Rivaldino dos Santos (and shot by Mikael Jansson), has finally arrived and based on these visuals, it appears the collection stays true to Wang's sportswear roots. Chic athletic wear including a long-sleeved sports jersey, exercise shorts, leggings and a puffy parka, along with a duffle bag, boxing gloves, sandals and a water bottle are some of the items we can look forward to when the collection hits select H&M stores worldwide on November 6th. I'm completely loving the modern and fashion forward approach that Wang has taken with these pieces and clearly, looking stylish at the gym has never been easier.

A Peek at the Alexander Wang for H&M Men's Collection

H&M's annual designer collaboration is something that I always look forward to and this year, the fast fashion retailer has joined forces with IT designer of the moment, Alexander Wang. I've been a huge fan of Wang ever since he launched his T by Alexander Wang collection for women in 2009 and since then, the designer has flourished and literally changed the fashion landscape with his innovative sportswear designs and visionary design aesthetic.

Wang grew up in the '90s and this collection clearly draws heavily from that time when bold brand logos were seen all over garments and one's status and prestige was associated with the brands they wore. Rocking some WANG today would totally say that you're a part of the fashion IN crowd without trying too hard. WANG emblazoned sunglasses, sweatshirts, bags, leggings, jackets and shorts have all made it into this first glimpse at the collection and from the looks of it, the collection will have a strong sportswear offering. But this makes complete sense because wearable, contemporary, urban sportswear is the designer's specialty. WANG x H&M is definitely going to be the brand that street style stars and fashion lovers will be coveting this fall, and it's definitely going to be another one of those collections that sells out in a few hours. Look for it at select H&M stores on November 6.

Thom Browne continues to reinvent menswear with his playful take on men's suiting and sportswear in his upcoming fall/winter 2014 collection. Mono-patterned suits complete with matching patterned footwear, beautifully tailored coats that create sleek and modern silhouettes, and luxe, fashion-forward athletic wear all cohesively work together to represent the designer's unique, contemporary design vision. I'm coveting this entire collection, but I especially love the fun sartorial hats and the puffy patterned jacket -- they're completely innovative and refreshing! Although this collection isn't necessarily for everyone, I definitely believe a piece from this collection would effortlessly add interest to any fall wardrobe and help elevate any look to the next level.
