OK, how cool is this A Bathing Ape x Transformers Optimus Prime T-Shirt? I'm a huge fan of the Transformers franchise and A Bathing Ape, and this collaboration is truly a gift from fashion-pop culture heaven! The Japanese streetwear brand continues to push the urban fashion envelope with this cute and simple graphic that features the brand's mascot, Milo, appearing behind the wheel of the rig form of Autobot leader, Optimus Prime. The shirt is available in two colours (grey and white) and hits select BAPE stores on March 30th.

Bathing Ape Camoflauge Football Pouch

Bathing Ape Camoflauge Football Pouch (Green)

Japanese street wear brand, A Bathing Ape, has just released this cool and sophisticated pocket pouch in two classic, camouflage colourways (beige and green). The size of the bag is approximately 3.9 inches x 7.2 inches and  pays homage to Americana, and specifically, American football. I'm loving the use of BAPE's signature block camouflage throughout this durable canvas pouch and the brilliant red zipper helps to add visual interest. Get this bag now at the A Bathing Ape online store.

Japanese streetwear brand, A Bathing Ape, continues to push the design envelope with these BAPEHiphopish sunglasses for spring/summer 2013. A Bathing Ape branding is emblazoned on the left lens and the classic shape of these glasses pays homage to wayfarers. I love the simplicity of these sunglasses and the branding on the left lens is definitely the highlight of this piece. These sunglasses are available now from the A Bathing Ape online store.

Andy Warhol Foundation iPhone 5 Cases By Incase

Andy Warhol iPhone 5 cases by Incase
Own an iPhone 5? Looking for a fun way to add some pop art into your daily life? The Andy Warhol Foundation has collaborated with Incase to release this special Incase for Andy Warhol Collection of snap cases for the iPhone 5. Based on some of the infamous artist's works from the '60s, the cases reflect Warhol's famous artistic endeavors with silk screen painting and experimental filmmaking. The styles in this collection include the Mona Lisa, Kiss, Telephone and Flowers. My favourite is the Mona Lisa case and in my opinion, the repetitive silk screen print in various colourways represents the iconic pop artist the best. Check out the complete collection and more here at Incase.

Rihanna Concert Videos and Setlist (Toronto: March 19, 2013)

Earlier this week, I attended my first Rihanna concert at the Air Canada Centre here in Toronto. I wasn't sure what to expect so I went without any expectations and to my delight -- I was completely blown away by her performance! Rihanna is a superstar and she is definitely one of the top female performers of the moment. She opened the show with Mother Mary, but it was the second song, Fresh Off the Runway, that truly set the tone for the evening with its killer beats, bass pumping riffs and Rihanna's stellar vocals. The crowd went wild to every beat of Fresh Off the Runway and Rihanna had us all begging for more. The evening was broken up in to a series of acts that each reflected one of her various musical styles, from hip hop-influenced tracks to reggae-styled songs to pop/dance hits and heart-wrenching ballads.

The highlights of the evening for me were seeing her perform the hits What's My Name?, Only Girl In the World, We Found Love, and Diamonds (see video above). Her looks throughout the night were edgy, sexy, and completely chic. And for a bit of extra drama, pyrotechnics lit up the stage at different points of the night and got the crowd even more fired up! The energy of the crowd was astounding and Rihanna kept us engaged by having us sing-along to our favourite songs and screaming for more. But before we knew it, the evening was over just as quickly as it began and another successful night of the Diamonds World Tour came to a close. If you ever get the chance to see Rihanna in concert, I highly recommend it -- you won't be disappointed! Check out my videos below and above for a glimpse at the concert.

Pet Shop Boys' New Album Electric

I'm a huge fan of the Pet Shop Boys and I'm delighted to share this exciting news about their upcoming studio album, Electric! Band members Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have recently parted ways with their record label Parlophone and signed a deal with Kobalt Label Services. This is a huge step for the Pet Shop Boys and it's a clear indication that the record industry is changing and evolving. Music artists are no longer restricted by the limitations of recording contracts and now have the freedom to select specific services from independent music publishers as needed. Legendary music producer Stuart Price produced the new album and based on his past collaborations with Madonna, The Killers, and other leading pop artists -- Electric should be an electro-pop success! Check out the video above to learn more about the new album and look for it in stores and online in June.

Barneys New York's Wild Things Fashion Video

Luxury retailer, Barneys New York, recently released this fun, fashion film short titled "Wild Things" featuring British Model, James Smith. The video transports the male supermodel into a pop-art/cartoon world and highlights ready-to-wear menswear pieces by Paul Smith, Vince, Gant Rugger, Robert Gellar, Alexander Wang, Marc by Marc Jacobs and more. The clever editing combined with the engaging animations give this video a youthful, vibrant and edgy vibe that will definitely appeal to Barneys' customers and fashionistos. This is one of the best film shorts I've seen this year and it's officially my favourite!

Calvin Klein's Simple and Minimal Spring/Summer 2013 Ad Campaign

Calvin Klein Spring/Summer 2013

Calvin Klein Spring/Summer 2013

Calvin Klein Spring/Summer 2013
I'm loving this Calvin Klein spring/summer 2013 ad campaign featuring Shaun De Wet and Madison Headrick, shot by Daniel Jackson. Calvin Klein is known for minimal, timeless, classic designs and for spring/summer 2013 the fashion house taps into a graphic colour pallette consisting primarily of  black and white. The skinny silhouette for men continues to prevail in the upcoming season and the notion of relaxed sophistication resonates with this new collection. What do you think of this ad campaign?
