Miu Miu, the subsidiary brand to Prada and designed by Miuccia Prada, opened its first Canadian boutique in Toronto this week at the flag ship location of Holt Renfrew (50 Bloor West street). The fabulous space, located in a corner of the luxury retail department store, was designed by famed architect, Roberto Baciocchi. It boasts a glamorous gold backdrop with crystal display cases and beautiful damask finishes that heighten the opulence of the Miu Miu handbags and accessories housed in this larger-than-life jewelery box. I'm a huge Prada fan and the expansion of the Miu Miu brand into Canada is a positive sign for all luxury brand lovers. Unfortunately, none of the brand's clothing collections are available at this mini store, but depending on the sales and demand for more Miu Miu -- I'm positive we'll be seeing more from this Italian fashion house.
