Diesel's Foot Fetish Ad

Diesel has always had interesting and thought provoking ad campaigns and their latest ad featuring an elderly foot fetishist being gratified by model Jon Kortajarena’s Diesel high-top sneakers continues to challenge comfort zones and push buttons. The whole point of this new ad campaign is to "intrigue and provoke thought". I LOVE it!

Apparently, films surrounding each new ad image will be available on the Diesel web site.

Diesel used to be one of my favorite shoe brands. (Yes, I spelled "favorite" the non-Canadian way.) I loved their square-head shoes from 5/6 years back. Back then, they balanced mainstream with eccentric designs, but now it seems all eccentric.

Jon is one of my favorites. If he can manage a smile, I'd cast him as Gambit. This guy has this subtle range in his expressions, like Jessica Stam. Whereas Stam always exhibits a variety of blah ennui expressions, he exhibits this calm fierceness in nearly all his campaigns.

OMG - I loved the square-head shoes too! I'll have to show you later...
I agree, Diesel is totally over now.....

Interesting.... he would totally be a great Gambit - sexy, ominous, and full of attitude. I don't think Gambit really ever smiled though, it was more of a smirk....
